Svenja's a highly ambitious and confident woman, who has had many highs and lows in her life. The envied middle child and scorned muggleborn in Slytherin, she fought her ass off to make something of herself. She's also a little too proud to admit how insecure she was as a child, and even after she became a hit wizard. But it's also that same pride that damaged her career as an auror. Working within the Beast Department better suits her temperament, despite her formidable skills in her previous department.[break][break]
She likes tackling what others call the impossible, and is currently working on reviving the Werewolf Register. Unsurprisingly, it's been quite the shit show, but being as she's also a part of the Werewolf Capture Unit, it seems inevitable. Werewolf Support is out of her division, but she'd be willing to assist if the Being Division could get their act together.[break][break]
Aside from chasing werewolves, Svenja studies dragons and has a soft spot for reptiles in general. And is very prone to wanderlust. Her parents have effectively sheltered her since the day they found her, keeping her away from potentially triggering topics by dramatically restricting internet access, limited what she could read, and generally away from the general public. They managed to homeschool her with the aid of a tutor, but despite being magical themselves, could not teach her everything Hogwarts could. They simply lacked the time and skills, but were at the same time fearful of being separated from her. But Hogwarts also had a reputation of being safe...[break][break]
Socially awkward and not at all accustomed to socializing with children outside of a very contained environment, Faustine got into many fights. The sort that left the other children curled in the fetal position and cradling their pelvic regions. That and her quiet nature made it difficult for friendships to bud. She had zero interest in idle chit chat, and would ignore others if she deemed them boring.[break][break]
Whereas Herbology was her favorite (and soothing) course, Faustine showed sparks of life when out on the Quidditch Pitch or in art class. In Quidditch, she was free to give in to her violent urges while slinging bludgers, and the use of art therapy allowed her to pour creative energy and sorrow into something constructive.[break][break]
