Nicolette's mother, Manon Delacour, née Lestrange was outcasted from the Lestrange family for marrying Enzo Delacour, a halfbreed part-veela. Together, Manon and Enzo lived in France, raising their kids until the eldest child came of age to attend a wizarding school. The parents decided to send their kids to Hogwarts, thinking that it was better than Beauxbatons.

However, during Nicolette's 4th year (two years ago to present day), Manon Delacour mysteriously fell sick and passed away soon after. The cause of death was officially reported as sickness, but Nicolette suspects that the Lestrange family are involved in the death somehow. But she has no proof aside from a bad feeling.

Nicolette is a bit of an aloof Prefect. She mostly minds her own business and especially ignores any guys who try to get in her pants due to her veela beauty.
