Although we do not have canon characters, we do allow canon families. Consider these as want ads. They are NPCs until taken. Canon families are more likely to be involved in subplots.

These canon families allow for people to be able to play characters with established backgrounds and existing family ties to other characters.

You are allowed to suggest more canon families, however, they must be approved beforehand. To suggest a canon family, PM a staff member.

When you take a canon family member, it is assumed that you are willing to plot and thread with other people related to your character. When you decide to choose a canon with an established family, it is recommended that you contact the member playing that character, at the very least if you intend on making a plot directly involving them.

Please note if you take a family member and then go inactive, then that family member will become an NPC. The staff may choose to NPC inactive characters. Inactive characters may be subject to the site's plot, and potentially undergo major character-altering events, including deaths.
