Piret's pureblood father, Rasmus Nott, married a pureblood Estonian witch, Eliise Tamm. Piret was born the eldest. [break][break] She was sorted into Slytherin. During her Hogwarts years, she met the quirky Hufflepuff halfblood Wilhelm Bell, who she ended up dating. Given that Wilhelm was a Hufflepuff of all Houses, and not even a pureblood at that, Piret was outcasted from most pureblood circles. [break][break] Piret assured both her pureblood peers and her family that this was just a fling and that she didn't actually intend to marry a halfblood (although she wasn't sure herself). [break][break] One night, the lovebirds got a little too much firewhiskey and ended up sleeping together. They ended up conceiving a child and thus decided to have a shotgun wedding. [break][break] Piret does maintain a measure of prejudice against muggleborn but out of respect for Wilhelm's heritage, she keeps her mouth shut. [break][break] In December 2018, she gave birth to a boy. Upon becoming a mother, she decided to resign from her position at Hogwarts to live in Estonia and raise her child there.
