> Her childhood before six years old is a hazy blur, though she is okay with that. She can, for the most part, remember her mother's face, smiling down at her and taking her hand. The rest is an angry snarl of men, women, and children, the latter a crowd of distorted, often monstrous faces that continue to haunt her dreams. And then there's the smiling, determined faces of women coaxing her and the rest of the children into vans, clean beds, and colorful rooms with various crayons and paints and paper and canvas.[break][break]
A sense of warmth, but also an underlying fear for the dark times that must come, but never come, and leaves her on edge, expecting the worst.[break][break]
And suddenly she's back home, in a room that is not her room, with people who claim to be her parents, but are not. With walls adorned with photos of them with a girl who looks like her, but is not. She feels she is nothing, but they insist she means the world to them.[break][break]
These words followed her to Hogwarts, but so did the nightmares. She was mostly functional at that point, but insomnia and her quiet nature caused a rift between her and her peers. Those first three years were the hardest, though it got better with time. And in that time, she found solace in Herbology and art.[break][break]
Art therapy was a longtime friend of hers by now, and she took both the wizard and muggle art classes as her extracurriculars. Herbology was therapeutic in its own way, as much with potions, it required a certain sense of focus. Those were her favorite and best classes, aside from Charms and Care of Magical Creatures.[break][break]
She took a year off after graduation, to focus more on her mental health. Afterward, she began studying Herbology at Brimbee University. She's currently in her second year.[break][break]
> Has a strong dislike and is wary of men. She only respects her father and men in authority. At Hogwarts, she had a very bad habit of kneeing boys in the groin or entangling them in her hair if they got into her personal space. Was constantly in detention, as a result.[break][break] > Former Hufflepuff and Beater on the Quidditch team. She had a lot of pent up anger and frustration that could not be satisfied by art therapy alone.[break][break]
> Was diagnosed with clinical depression, PTSD, and eventually Dissociative Amnesia. Aside from her art, she self-medicates with meditation to help keep a sense of self.
