Bonsoir! Quoi de neuf? All good on your end, I hope. I've been having an interesting time, myself. I've expanded my horizons to a larger and more established newspaper in Britain. It's still niche in a way, as it caters to LGBTQA+ witches, but it's the biggest as far as I know. But the point is I got in as a featured writer! They are very open to anything (violent horror aside), like my latest creature feature. This one is about a beautiful mermaid who falls in love with a centuar. As you can imagine, their separation via land and sea places a strain on their relationship, but-- Oh, I'll spoil it all if I'm not careful. I've included a copy for your viewing pleasure. Hohoho, poor Matti! I could try turning it down a little, but there is no! Guarantee! That it won't leave you weak, hahaha. I honestly prefer the more drawn out affairs of a budding love, forbidden and frowned upon by society, the touch of a timid hand...Comme c’est beau! My heart aches just thinking about it! Alas, I can only run those as chapters or short novellas. I enjoy writing romance, but that alone I cannot make for a single novel! Me, innocent? Hohoho, did you think I would miss that? I get that a lot at work and most places, I suppose...I find it hard to be open, t’sais? But text, text allows me to be free. It is why I write, after all. c'est vrai... i do find myself enjoying the drawn out romances. but i don't think people take too kindly to a person rolling around all giddy over a slight brush of a hand in public, tu sais? you get enough stares being part veela and all. i don't readily go out seeking ways to make greater that number. such is my first world problem (MDR).[break][break]
it's because you look so serious. and a career as a librarian? you give images of a strict book guardian, willing to hit people with rulers! ah, but if only they knew what went on in that head of yours... their world would never be the same.[break][break]
but i shall! perhaps i will even cry. it sounds dramatic enough to bring me to tears already. as always, i will probably send you a long, emotional letter about how you've utterly ruined me. be on the look out!

I'm a little nervous, actually...this is my first time publishing mone of my...exotic...pieces without a pen name. I think I'd drop dead if someone I knew read this and confronted me about it! Present company excluded, of course. ;^) Sometimes not looking the part is worse? I cannot properly explain it myself (so much for being a writer MDR), but...I guess I worry too much about what others think? What is it they say about the quiet ones being the kinkiest?
