Who ever wanted to be the oldest student in school? If you asked Minnie...she would have never wanted to be the oldest student...however a fear keeps her from graduating. It happened when she was 8, her magic finally started to peak, her grace and charm was well known...but she saw it.

At first her family told her that it would never happen...that her cat Sir Fluffuls would never die. However...as clear as day it happened...the cat was killed by a dog...she had saw it only 3 months before...a vision. The path of the seer wasn't well in her family...but fear became apparent when several new maladies were predicted by Minnie. The death of her uncle by car accident, the lost of her still born younger brother that her mother never had, the burning down of her father's old family home. With clear accuracy she saw these fates come true.... and her parents still refused to believe her.

The worst one happened in her 7th year...she was head girl during her time, best grades in school...the day before the last tests...she saw it...her graduation...would lead to her parents dying in a accident...one that would completely leave no chance of failure. It was then she had an idea...she completely failed...every test on purpose. The teachers couldn't understand what happened...but when she got home for summer break...they were still alive. Minnie then decided...she would keep failing out until she found a way to beat her vision and keep her parents alive. She eventually moved out on her own, did work in muggle magic as well as tutor of sorts for other wizarding kids...but still attends Hogwarts with the headmaster's approval...she wanted to graduate more than anything...but not if it costed the lives of her parents.

Minerva comes off as cold, a person who doesn't take lip from others...mainly because to most of her whole house and the school, she is a joke for still being their...but she cares for others greatly...even though they only see her because of her Veela heritage.
