ACHOO, student society

Alcove: It is now December in the Veritaserum universe! Students have the option of staying over the Christmas holidays or returning home for a week. Those who remain at Hogwarts would be treated to the annual Christmas Feast on the 25th.

Alcove: When doing your apps, remember to write your age in NUMBERS, not letters. This immensely helps the staff with adding characters to the claims lists and would allow us to approve your character faster.

About Us

The Associated Committee of Halfbreeds and Others Organisation (ACHOO) aims to unite halfbreed students together and provide a safe, non-judgemental environment for those of mixed heritage. It encourages tolerance of other races through been hosting numerous annual activities including Hogsmeade parties, welcome/farewell gatherings, and celebrations to bolster its vision. ACHOO will also occasionally bring in Hogwarts halfbreed professors to give talks and/or socialise with the students.

Besides providing a safe environment, ACHOO supports halfbreed students through aiding in studies and advice from faculty representatives throughout the year.

Anybody (Halfbreed or non-Halfbreed) is eligible to become a member of ACHOO. However, this comes with a cost. You need to pay 10 Galleons.

You will also get a membership card with the name 'ACHOO' embossed in shiny golden letters. The back of the card would list the dates of upcoming events and meetings.

OOC note: Basically just post in this thread if you want your character to join and pick a committee member role. The committee member list is mostly for aesthetic tastes. You don't really have to go out of your way to do anything special.
